Essence of Life, a proudly Canadian brand established in 1998, began with a mission to make healthy organic food accessible and affordable for their community. What started as the dream of Canadian immigrants Jean and Frank—combining her background as a midwife and health enthusiast with his importing expertise—has evolved from a small 700-square-foot family-run shop into a thriving 4,500-square-foot store with 25 dedicated team members.

Located in Toronto's iconic Kensington Market, Essence of Life stands as a cornerstone of this vibrant neighborhood.
